Presentation
This training session will provide an overview of key concepts, processes, and best practices related to the topic area, equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply what they learn in their day-to-day responsibilities. Attendees will  explore core principles, review real-world scenarios and examples, discuss common challenges and risk indicators, and gain a clear understanding of expectations, procedures, and available resources. By the end of the session, participants will be better prepared to  dentify relevant issues, make informed decisions, and confidently apply the training concepts within their roles.

About Our Guest Speaker:

David Gray is retired from the United States Army where he held many positions to include leading both covert and covert investigations in the United States, Central, and South America. David oversaw antiterrorism response and investigations for the Olympic Games  held in South Korea and followed that with Black-market investigations on the Asian Pacific Rim. A combat wounded veteran of the war in Iraq with the 101st Airborne Division, he also conducted investigations in the Middle East. Although retired from the military, David currently serves as Chief Investigator for the Office of Inspector General with the Tennessee State Guard. After David’s active-duty retirement, he served for almost ten years as the Managing Director of Ethics, Compliance, and Investigations for a publicly traded company as well as staff investigator for one of the nation’s largest law firms. While Managing Director, he wrote curriculum and taught several levels of ethics and corporate leadership in addition to guest and keynote speaking for the National CISM Conference  and the State of Tennessee Association of Accounts Payable Professionals. Further, David has taught over 50 sessions on investigative and interview techniques and offers this service to groups. He is currently Senior Director of Global Investigations for  TP (formerly Teleperformance) with a presence in nearly one hundred countries. David holds an MBA with a concentration on internal investigation in the workplace and is a graduate of two investigative schools of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is a Life  member of the 101 st Airborne Division Association, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans as well as a vetted and accepted member of the National Association of Legal Investigators. A fun fact is that he was a featured investigator and speaker for a cold case murder project at the 2018 Crimecon Convention. Married with three grown children, David is a trombonist, a consultant on cold case crimes, and teaches Adult Sunday School at his local church.
